
Galway Land National Park is the newest national park in Sri Lanka. Declared May 27, 1938 as a wildlife sanctuary. It was renamed the National Park on 18 May 2006. The park was declared a preserve of the Montana Ecosystems. The 57-hectare park is located within the city limits of Nuwara Eliya. In addition to the birds, you can visit the Galway Land National Park, which is home to a variety of colorful trees and flowers. This is a wonderful place surrounded by beautiful scenery, lush greenery and countless birds and wildlife.
