
Bomburu Falls on the border of Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts Falling down from the 1842 m high Kotakiduru mountain. It is about 50 meters high and is made up of about 10 small waterfalls. It is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is also called Perawella Falls.
The road is quite difficult and you have to cross narrow bridges and scrubland. In addition, you will have to walk through small rock caves. But it will be a lovely experience. This consists of several sections, you first reach the lower of the waterfall. After that, you can reach the second part of the waterfall. Finally, you reach the top of the waterfall. There you can see the entire waterfall falling beautifully. You can bathe there as you wish. But the water there was very cold. This place is a beautiful place to camp but the Sri Lankan government has banned it.
The water is diverted to a power station in the area and used for agriculture.
