Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon) also referred to as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean is home to 21 million people and millions of travelers and guests. A magnificent island nation is a rugged land of rainforest, diverse wildlife and endless beaches. It’s famed for its ancient Buddhist ruins, including the 5th-century citadel Sigiriya cited as the 8th wonder in the world, home of the famous Ceylon Tea, best natural deep-water harbours in the world and  white sandy beaches.

about thingstodo sri lankaIf you’re a visitor (or sometime even a resident) of this beautiful island, it’s natural to feel confused and get lost in the hustle and bustle of the city and beyond without actually getting the chance to enjoy its many facets. Which is why we built ‘thingstodo.lk’ as an extension to Colombo things to do travel and lifestyle magazine. We hope that this site would be the best guide to take you along on a tour around this little island.

thingstodo.lk is a one stop shop to get information on things to do which covers experiences, things to see, places to visit, what to eat & drink, where to stay, fun stuff for kids and what to shop, basically to get the most out of your time spent in this wonderful island.

We’ve also touched unique and fun things to do with family, friends or honeymooners across the country; things that make Sri Lanka special. So let’s start the journey across this beautiful island, a ride minus the traffic, minus the confusion, plus the easy to use reviews and ratings based on your feedback.

We welcome you all to our newly revamped site. Please send us your valued comments and feedback.
